Was it because of his fun cousins? They had this instant bond despite the fact they don't see each other very often.

Was it because of the trampoline in my parent's backyard?

Was it the availability of new and different toys?
Family? Uncles? Grandma and Grandpa? The cooler weather? Seven Peaks? The beautiful mountains? The huge backyard compared to our tiny plot in Vegas?
Nope, none of these. When I asked Jayce why he wanted to move to Utah, he responded, "Because Utah has more guns!"
My brothers have some realistic arsenal stored up from past movie making and just typical boy play. Jayce was in heaven with all the weaponry! I'm surprised I don't have a pic of him with a toy gun, but I do have one with a make-shift light sabre.

Good grief! :)

Such a boy he is! That is quite funny. Was it as hard for you to come back as it was for me? It sounds like you had a great time.
That's right Jayce - bring on the violence. And trust me...taking out cable doesn't make a difference.
That's so funny! So, does he have any toy guns at home or was this totally new for him? I bet he was really loving his fun Uncles!
He has a Buzz Lightyear gun and a little pop gun from Knottsberry Farm. Fun toys, but not very realistic like my brothers' guns. It was a whole new world. :)
Honestly, seeing you guys party around like that (pointed hands in the air like we used to do when Mom got up to see what all the fun was about) made me homesick! I'm glad things were so fun out there. I seriously was thinking of coming up if not for the whole we-live-in-the-blazes-of-hell thing. Oh well!
It'a amazing the joys of little ones! So cute. It makes it worth the long trip when you have to drag the kids away.
Oops -- Knotts Berry Farm. My husband had to correct me.
Guns...Wesly was in heaven when we visited Amy in Wyoming, the toy guns were just SO REALISTIC. I can understand your son going through the same thing! fun fun!
ha! i'm so glad the hours i spent making fake guns look realistic have not been in vain. i now know what to get jayce for his birthday and christmas for the next decade!
A true boy! Glad he had so much fun. Funny thing, that is what Shane loved at his cousins house in Idaho! Glad you have a girl to balance things out.
Guns huh?! Gotta watch out for this boy. :)
My kids loved Utah, too. They're still having withdrawals. To be honest, so am I.
