Poor Alyssa!

My daughter has recently acquired various pain-inducing experiences:

A scraped chin . . . (coffee table incident)

A black eye . . . (didn't witness it occurring, but I heard giggling and running and then a big crash into the wall -- I'm thinking she ran into the corner)

. . . And a bad case of eczema (which I didn't photograph -- who wants to see that?). We've had to change detergents, soaps, sunblock, etc., and I'm getting used to putting lotions (the expensive kind, darn it!), cortisone creme, and vaseline on her affected areas. No fun!
Also, tonight she burned her thumb on Jayce's lamp, which immediately blistered. I mistakenly thought girls were less physical and prone to accidents. I was wrong!

Hello - it can be safely said that the stitches, broken arms, and scrapes of various body parts for our daughters easily out numbered those of our sons - actually, Kati probably out did everyone else combined.

Notice that it doesn't slow them down?! Off to the next accident - full speed ahead. Just kiss it better!
