. . . for at least five more months. Our passes have officially expired, and we refused to renew until fall. Who wants to go during the hot, crowded months of summer? Anyway, right after I returned from my girl's trip, I headed down the NEXT DAY for our final Disneyland hurrah. Jayce is such a fan, so for his sake we decided to go (although I was understandably unenthusiastic, and Jer wasn't too pumped, either). The kids had such fun it was so worth it, though.
Alyssa sticks out her tongue when we ask her to smile. Such defiance! It's as if she's mocking us.
Jayce just chillin' in line. So content!

Alyssa, my wardrobe queen, insisted on trying on the many Mickey Mouse hats. I couldn't bear to spend the $16, though, on this particular pirate favorite.

Jayce lit up during Playhouse Disney. The featured players -- Little Einsteins, Winnie the Pooh, Handy Manny, and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse -- were his personal all-star lineup.

As Alyssa continued her defiant pose, Jayce was perched precariously on the Winne the Pooh photo-op.
So long, Mickey! We've had fun, but we Pikes need a break. See you in five!

So fun! I will be forever indebted to you for teaching us the ropes of Disneyland. BTW - big provo high hoopla when you are in town for the summer - thanks to Kirk and KTB
I read your title, and thought yeah right! You'll miss Disneyland... you're too die hard of fans, by next fall you'll be dying to go. Ha ha!
You are the best parents! Look how fun you are. I love Alyssa with her "smile."
We'll have to take our boys soon for sure! I'm glad you enjoyed your last big hurrah!
Holz, inquiring minds want to know about the hoopla....
