Break out the Pool!

Jer has been prepping our swimming pool, so we'll be able to use it shortly. I can't wait! I keep thinking of all the hours of fun . . . and also of how tired the kids will be after we swim (a very good thing). I found this random pic taken a year ago before one of our swimming adventures. Holy cow! I'm a little maudlin. The kids were so little!

Okay, Vegas friends . . . I'm extending an official invitation to anyone wanting a fun, free dip in my backyard (that goes for my non-Vegas friends, too, but the drive might be a little longer). The pool isn't operational, yet, but will be soon. As those temperatures climb, remember what I'm offering. :)

Okay, I realize that's a funky suit Jayce is wearing, but he loves it! Don't you love his fancy earplugs? After he got his tubes inserted, my customized earplug guy advised me that brighter was better. Between the plugs and the suit, he may be a victim of some serious mocking.

OH--I love that! It makes me want to squeeze them! Amazing the difference a year makes, maybe we will take you up on a dip when the temps rise. hehe

It would be so much fun to have a pool in our backyard! The kids have grown up so much in the past year. Jayce's suit looks like it would be great for him to go splashing off on his own. I bet he gets pretty brave though...

Don't worry about the suit or the earplugs. Jayce is totally man enough. I would worry if he starts wearing capris :)

I will so take you up on that offer! Before you know it we will all be burning up and needed a nice cool break. You supply the pool and I'll supply the drinks, sunscreen, and food! Look how chubby and young Alyssa looks! These babies are growing too fast, what a cutie.

Looks like a smart kid to me. He's already figured out that it's more important to live the part than look the part.

Just remember, it does take a big man to wear capris.

Hi, Lisa.
Kaye Lynn forwarded your blog site. Your kids are adorable. My little family is moving to Las Vegas in a few weeks. Looking for a nice little rental for a while and trying to decide on a location. Remind me where in the Valley you live. We're looking primarily in the Northwest. If that's at all near you and you have recommendations or advice, please enlighten me.

Thanks so much!, Carin Wells Lea

I don't know if I'm ready for swimsuit season yet!

Carin, I'm a southwest girl, so I don't have much input for your area. However, if you need anything else, let me know. I can also ask around. I'm glad you're returning! We'll have to get together this time around. I'll get your email from Kayelynn and we'll figure it out.
