Well, since I'm sure you're all anxiously awaiting the results of Jayce's first day of preschool, I guess I should tell the sad, sad tale. It was an awful, awful day -- lots of tears, boredom, frustration, sleepiness, and misery. However, this was not due to preschool. He caught Alyssa's cold and was too sick to join in the fun. He's been healthy for most of this year, and then he gets sick on the very first day of preschool . . . his biggest rite of passage thus far. Grrr! Seriously, should I start thinking conspiracy theory here? Instead of exciting firsts I'm wiping noses, trying to cheer up my sickly kids (no easy task), and listening to hacking coughs. Oh, well, another four days of anxiousness and wondering. Until Tuesday . . .

Well that's no fun! Good luck with the kiddos this weekend and I hope Jayce hits it out of the park next Tuesday and LOVES preschool!
What a bummer!! I never truly understood the trials of sick children, but I TOTALLY feel you now! It is so awful! I hope they feel better soon!
that stinks! i hope they feel better soon and that you get a break from the long days of caring for sick ones-they can be so long and tiring. Here's hoping Tuesday goes great for him!
No way! After all of that preparation! Aside from the fact that sick kids are THE WORST, how hard to have to postpone the drama for another week? I also send my condolences on the loss of your camera. I can't imagine blogging w/o picture prompting. Our life isn't that exciting. However, perhaps it would evoke a more thoughtful and "real" blog entry--without using my kids as props ;) I need to try it sometime! As for the rain...aside from our one storm, the summer has been awful! I'm soooo ready for fall! Hang in there and we'll be looking to a fantastic day next Tuesday! Go Jayce!
Oh, yuck. Sorry to hear that ya'll aren't feeling well. I hope that you recover quickly. Especially in enough time for Tuesday! :)
I hate it when kids are sick...but better a cold than the flu right? Way rather wipe noses I always say...
Well, hopefully you dont catch it. Much easier to take care of the kids when you arent sick. :) Good luck finding the camera. That stinks.
